Bread Basket

Baking Up A New Identity.

Bread Basket Bakery, a local staple in Saratoga Springs, NY went under an ownership change leading to a shift in the bakery’s business model. The shift was a Good one! Being purchased by Business for Good, Bread Basket was the first business in the foundation’s now expansive portfolio that would donate all profits to local charities. LIFT was proud to work with Bread Basket on a variety of projects including a brand refresh, logo redesign, website redesign, and paid media campaigns to support the opening of new locations and seasonal offerings.

Our Role.

LIFT’s partnership with Bread Basket involved a wide range of our agency services. LIFT planned and executed comprehensive media plans in support of the opening of a second location as well as seasonal offerings and promotions, utilizing digital and traditional mediums such as social media, local print publications, and influencer activations to drive mass awareness. Most recently. Bread Basket converted their second location into a Cake Shop, while there original location remained a Bakery. This change in the business structure sparked the need for a Brand Refresh, bringing in a brighter, modern color palette suitable for decadent cakes and pastries. LIFT also worked on redesigning the logos for both businesses, combining past brand elements with new, eye-catching fonts and colors to bring Bread Basket into the 21^st century. As part of the refresh, LIFT did a complete redesign of Bread Basket’s website utilizing the new color palette, logos, and other brand elements. These various projects have set up the Bread Basket Bakery & Cake Shop for a future of success and growth, allowing them to continue Baking A Difference for years to come.
