In November 2016, Chicago hosted two incredible International men’s rugby match-ups: New Zealand v. Ireland and USA v. Maori.
As the anticipation grew for these matches, LIFT developed and activated a media plan and creative campaign to boost ticket sales and reach a wider audience. The plan focused on large scale placements through out the Chicago area and the creation of a microsite to promote the event, capture emails, receive media requests and announce dates for pre-sale and public on-sale tickets. With over 89,000 attendees in two days, this exciting and competitive weekend was a success
