RUGBY WORLD CUP SEVENS
The world’s best rugby players came together in San Francisco for Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018 – marking the first time a Rugby World Cup event was held on U.S. soil. Nations from six continents competed in a new, quicker version of the sport which features only knock-out matches, so it truly was winner takes all.
LIFT provided Marketing Strategy, Planning and Buying and Creative Services in support of this iconic event. Digital media campaigns were focused on three key periods to promote and encourage ticket sales along with a longer countdown strategy for the seven months preceding the event. These “7 Moments” were developed to organically ignite fan excitement and keep momentum climbing and culminated with a final push throughout paid digital media.
